NAPA. Nestled in the historic wine country among natural wildlife preserves, this championship course features a links-style design. Precise club selection for approach shots is a must, since these elevated greens are also well mounded, and long putts can be extremely difficult. A number of unique challenges come into play, including working vineyards, water hazards, and natural stone walls.

PEBBLE BEACH. Located about two hours south of San Francisco, this course is a must-see. With ever-changing weather conditions, it can play differently from hour to hour. Bordered by deep rough and numerous bunkers, fairways are in excellent condition. Both sand dunes and bunkers surround the tiny greens. With the ocean coming into play on seven different occasions, breathtaking views are common on this world-class course.

PEBBLE BEACH. The Shore Course is more wooded than its sister course and also has the added dangers of numerous bunkers and dense, tree-lined fairways. Also located in beautiful Pebble Beach. The two-hour drive is well worth the trip to see this beauty. While several holes run alongside the ocean, the majority of the course is situated more inland.

PEBBLE BEACH. Aptly named, this beautiful course starts out with relatively narrow, tree-lined fairways but closes with holes bordering the Pacific coast. The wide-open, windswept areas of the course will challenge golfers of all abilities.

SAN FRANCISCO. As the host site for a number of major championships, including four U.S. Opens, this outstanding course speaks for itself. With no water hazards in play and only one fairway bunker, your only problem becomes the thick rough and dense tree lines. An extremely exclusive club; only members and their guests are permitted to play this pristine course.
